Celebrate the start of the Lunar New Year with us at the Las Cruces Museum System!

Join us at the Branigan Cultural Center on Saturday, February 21 from 10am to 1pm MST for our Seventh Annual "Lunar New Year Celebration!"

The Lunar New Year is a holiday that marks the beginning of spring on the second new moon after the winter solstice. In China, Vietnam, Singapore, and South Korea and other Asian countries, it is one of the most important holidays of the year!

Our "Lunar New Year Celebration" is happening in the Branigan Cultural Center courtyard. Stop by to learn more about this celebration and the cultures that celebrate this festive time of year through crafts in partnership with Las Cruces Public Art!

Participate in fun activities for the whole family and watch the Blue Dragon Dojo perform the Lion Dance at 11am!
