MVAS Scheduled Bird Walks:

These scheduled bird walks are designed for novice and experienced birders, so a knowledge of birds is not required. You don’t have to be an MVAS member to participate. Bring along snacks if you need them and be sure to have enough water with you. MVAS asks participants to follow current U.S. Centers for Disease Control and local authorities’ guidelines to combat the spread of COVID-19.  New Mexico State Parks (Leasburg, Mesilla Valley Bosque) requires that groups using its facilities be limited to 10 people.  You will be asked to sign an MVAS sign-up page before the walk begins.  The group leader or his designee will keep a list of all birds identified during the walk and report it…
